new James Bond film that it was only 1 hour and 45 minutes long, the first time a Bond film has been that short since the first outing in 1962.To make matters worse, the disappointment grew rapidly, it started with a fairly average car chase sequence, the titles rolled onto screen and i was left wondering where is the gun barrel opening?
This followed by the biggest action scene of the film, which was traditional bond, this continued thoughtout the film, the action grew less as the script got weaker, and by the end of the film your left wondering, what was the point.
The film is fast paced, i mean that in a rushed sense, because one minute your hear and the next he has killed someone and he's off again.
I can't fault Daniel Craig, he gives a good show and at times you are still left wondering weather he is bond.
Quantum of Solace is average, the story is weak and is by no means a Casino Royale, the action is a abit short lived in short spurts and sometimes it really don't feel like a Bond film at all.
The gun barrel scene did eventually appear right at the end of the film, and it makes sense why, but still very un-bond like, just like Bond leaving his enemy to die of his own accord rather than bond actually killing him in cold blood!
I would simply say, if your an amid Bond fan, go see it, otherwise wait for the DVD release.
