00 Heaven, it was not!

To start with i was disappointed with the fact that i found out 24 hours before going to see the new James Bond film that it was only 1 hour and 45 minutes long, the first time a Bond film has been that short since the first outing in 1962.

To make matters worse, the disappointment grew rapidly, it started with a fairly average car chase sequence, the titles rolled onto screen and i was left wondering where is the gun barrel opening?

This followed by the biggest action scene of the film, which was traditional bond, this continued thoughtout the film, the action grew less as the script got weaker, and by the end of the film your left wondering, what was the point.

The film is fast paced, i mean that in a rushed sense, because one minute your hear and the next he has killed someone and he's off again.

I can't fault Daniel Craig, he gives a good show and at times you are still left wondering weather he is bond.

Quantum of Solace is average, the story is weak and is by no means a Casino Royale, the action is a abit short lived in short spurts and sometimes it really don't feel like a Bond film at all.

The gun barrel scene did eventually appear right at the end of the film, and it makes sense why, but still very un-bond like, just like Bond leaving his enemy to die of his own accord rather than bond actually killing him in cold blood!

I would simply say, if your an amid Bond fan, go see it, otherwise wait for the DVD release.

Becoming High Silence!

It wasn't long ago on a previous blog, i was telling you all about a concept of a band with a Nine minute rule! Now it only seems like 5 minutes and i'm telling you about yet again another music project i am involved in.

After the disolvement of indie rock band The Nine, it was quite clear things were left somewhat, in the open, static you could say, others would put it alot left to do. True as it may seem, there was alot of stuff i personally i wanted to do with Paul Stead (Lead Guitarist) in the music business, after initial discussions with the man himself he agreed and we decided that a new format had to be worked.

This was to be the re branding of The Nine, High Silence was born!
The Nine tackled perhaps the girly side of Indie Rock, by not getting into the real nitty gritty and scouring around the edges, ambitious we was, but just not enough influences to invoke that real indie spirit within us.

High Silence promises to deliver though, bringing the real indie rock back into practice, that The Nine somewhat missed, forget about the Break Me's and The Goodbye No Returns, because a new line of many new original songs are coming!

Strictly Come Bo****ks

Now what's the point of this programme, really what is the point? Ok so they get thier parteners and jig up and down to stupid foxtrot and cha cha's, but really what's the bloody point?
Personally first of all you had a LEG-end named Bruce Forsyth who seriously should shut up, hand up his shoes and retire. Secondly you have Jessie Wallace, who thinks sheading a few tears will change the judges mind, quite frankly love you knew the score before you took up the Jive, so get you use to it, you stupid cow!!!
Thirdly, oh yes there's a third, this time it falls on the show's sly but yet cunning recorded (soposed live) show, recorded after the saturday show is the sunday results show, well so why the hell make us sit through another dismal hour of this crap!!!
See in the 70's Come Dancing had it, well almost, Brucie had it! he knew what he was saying and was able to show us some moves, however i can't knock the old sod, after all he is over 80.
The show also had a freedom feel about it, none of this stupid voting crap from Bruno Ravolli and Craig "I am as gay as Dale Winton" Horwood.

The latest episode fetched only 8 million, compared to the X Factor, which pulled in 11 Million, i know what one i was watching, as if you couldn't have guessed.
